“The HARVEST is plentiful, but the labourers are few, therefore PRAY earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:37,38
“There is always a cry in the missions field for more help — if only we had more hands to extend to the needy, tend to the sick and feed the hungry; more feet to bring the Good News to the lost; more workers to disciple new believers, and more missionaries to build up the Church.” — Elder Tan Lian Seng, Former Missions Director
Missions Mobilisation calls Covenanters who believe that God has called Covenant EFC to be a church in missions (Matt 28:19,20) to answer His call to serve Him in a cross-cultural context, whether in Singapore or overseas.
One of the saddest verses in the Bible is Jeremiah 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” God’s work in missions is URGENT. The need is great. The task given to the Church needs to be finished.
